Resep rendang ini dapat dari mama mertua, gak ada duanya, rendang di restoran lewat :D.
resepnya masih dalam bahasa inggris, soalnya dulu ada teman bule yg minta, kalau nggak semuanya pakai perasaan saja, xixixixi
Ingredients:
1 kg Beef meat
1 kg Thick Coconut Milk (can be extracted from 3 big coconuts or 4 smaller coconuts)
250 gr Red Onion - blended
75 gr White Onion - blended
100 gr Red Chili - blended
1 spoon full blended ginger
1.5 spoon full blended Lengkuas/Laos (Galangal/Greater Galingale/Alpinia Galanga)
1 stick of Serai (Lemongrass/Cymbopogon) - smash the base
1 Daun Kunyit (Turmeric Leaf)
5 Daun Jeruk Purut (Kaffir Lime Leaf)
2 Daun Salam (Indonesian Bay-Leaf)
Salt
Instruction:
1. Chop the meat at your desired size
2. All ingredients (except for the leaves, coconut milk and Serai/Lemongrass) are blended
3. Cook all ingredients until they are dry and the color is changed to brown
